Sphinx Figure by Crystori Sphinx Figure by Crystori
Wow.... this was actually a two day project- would you believe it?

Made with sculpey and love. XD Painted to resemble a gold statue- sadly her head decided to fall off when she was being cooked so she now slightly lacks a neck much to my anger. (I worked SO hard on this twits face and neck!) I'm glad I had originally designed her with a lovely collar but she was supposed to be slightly more elegant and ...about half an inch taller. XD oh well!

"This lovely lady Sphinx was had crafted with loving care and a horrendous amount of time. Delicately painted jewels adorn the crown of this lovely and slightly pouty little lust of a creature. Deep red dips the end of her delicate little tail and tips of her paws. Is it the blood from her last victim which she riddled to their death or is it simply the color of her paws? We leave you to decide."

Up for sale on my Etsy. [link]

God I need a better camera. *sigh*
I want to make a bunch more of these but this stupid thing made me want to kill people before I finished. NEVER TRY TO MAKE A TINY FACE WITHOUT TOOLS! YOUR HANDS WILL THANK YOU!

Funny fact#1- The face alone took about four hours and/then/some. She started out with an awesome snarling face but over time I made it into more of a pout.

Funny fact #2- she actually started out standing. The drawings from which she spawned had her actually sitting or crouching to attack. I wanted a soft elegant style though where she could be armless and look like an older styled figuring and those poses didn't work for that style.

Yes- it really took forever but it was totally worth it! I'm very proud of her. She inspires me to try and make another one in the crouching position that I was thinking to do.
XD but she was SO frustraiting lol I fear!
